Summer in the City

Good thing I'm a cheap drunk....cuz it ain't cheap to get drunk here.

Last night was so much fun.

Kim, another girl in the fashion department, is also in the city for the summer. I met up with her and a girl she is staying with, Rebecca, at TGI Friday's in Times Square.


From there we walked to the subway, and after talking to some random girls who seemed nice and fun, we found out where we needed to go. We went to this place called Braury Bar (I think?). It was huge...it had about 6 rooms. And NYC is terribly overpriced....a vodka cranberry cost me $9!! Looks like that will be MY last drink out for awhile.


Fav memories from the night:
1. When Kim offered a guy a Fridays the last half of her beer that she couldn't finish if he'd give her a dollar. "It's the New York way...anything to make a buck"
2. We were stopped by some random guy who needed to have "dates" for him and his friends to get into a bar, and Rebecca interrupted his pleading to ask him where Braury Street was.
Him: "Um, so me and my friends are trying to get into this bar, but we have to have dates to"
Rebecca: "Yeh, do you know where Braury is?"
3. Kim, in a stand against the $9 we had to pay for our minature drinks, stole an orange.
4. The woman/man thing we saw in the bathroom that Kim very drunk and loudly referred to as "SHREK!!" (I'm suprised we didn't get jumped by it)
5. Spending one of my first nights out in NYC with two very cool girls....thanks ladies!
